Bobcat Softball Signs Enterprise State CC Transfer – Katie Dennis

(Peru, Neb.) – Bobcat softball head coach J. L. Thomason announced an earlier signing of Katie Dennis from Enterprise State Community College in Enterprise, Alabama.

Dennis will begin her junior season as a Bobcat in the fall of 2020. She is the daughter of Monica and Sam Dennis, also of Enterprise, Alabama.

Due to the COVID-19 situation, Dennis and her Boll Weevils teammates had only played 11 games in which she played in seven this spring.

Dennis plans to be an education major while at Peru State and will be seeking a coaching endorsement.

Thomason noted, “Katie is a solid catcher who is able to control the run game very well, with not only her arm but her ability to keep her blocks near the plate. She has a very solid bat that looks to fit into the middle of the lineup with both her ability to hit for contact and power.”
