Nice... The chick with the accent needs to say something about a
moose and squirrel.
I'll be interested to see MNU in Sioux City. My guess is they'll be the #2 seed in the pool with Northwestern.
Northwestern will also be facing MNU in the Benedictine basketball classic this weekend. This will be a tough stretch for the Red Raiders - facing highly ranked D1 foes in MNU and Benedictine in Atchison and then coming home to face D2 #3 Morningside on Tuesday.

I really don't know anything about the Volleyball, but the MNU Lady Pioneers basketball team is freakishly talented. That should be a very good game.
MNU women's basketball is primed for a run. And after last season, where there were zero significant injuries, we're working with patchwork lineups and new players. If Northwestern wants to beat a top-tier D1 team, this weekend is the time.
This thread is now officially WAY off course...
And won't MNU be a 1-seed in one of the pools? Ranked #8...

There are only 6 pools of 4 teams each at nationals and they pretty much go straight down the rankings. So top 6 are #1 seeds and then they reverse order so #7 would be the 2 seed in pool six and #8 would be the 2 seed in pool 5, etc.
As for basketball, NW lost 1 player (granted, a first team All American) off last years final four team so they are pretty tough again. Their back up post is injured and hasn't played yet this year but they've had a good start to the season.
Ah yes...6 pools. My AD agrees with you and thinks we'll be join by Bellevue and Grand View (if the opening round seedings hold).
